How do I pick the best pallet for my application?

We have many types and designs to choose from. But one of them will definitely suit your needs. To find the answer to your question it’s best to ask some other questions first:

• • What size of pallet do I require?
  • Will the pallets be stacked or double stacked?
  • Will racking be required?
  • How much weight will go on the pallet?
  • What type of load will be on the pallets?

When you have answered these questions you will know which pallet is the best option for you. Open Pallets

Our standard pallets are pallets with an open deck. Better known as ventilated decks. This means there are openings in the surface. This decreases the weight of the pallet, which makes them easier to handle. Another plus to these open pallets is that they provide easier drainage when wet.

Closed deck pallets

Besides open pallets we offer closed deck pallets, also known as solid top decks. This means there are no, or close to none, holes in the deck. Because of the smooth surface the pallets offer great hygiene. It offers protection from spills or splashes and they are also much easier to clean. To make sure your goods stay in place the deck has an anti-skid surface and a raised edge on each side of the pallet.

Pallets with reinforced steel

Does your transport mostly consist of heavy loads? Then you might want to equip your pallets with reinforced steel. When reinforced they have an exceptional load-bearing capacity and an incredible longevity and sturdiness. It also makes pallets safer to use in racks. Contrary to what you might think, this does not make the pallets extremely heavy.

Recycled pallets or virgin materials?

All our pallets are available in virgin and recycled materials. Because we only use the best raw materials available in the market, going for the greener option does not mean you have to compromise on quality.
