Tracking Tracing
Being able to track the eggs and also the plastic empties is becoming an increasingly important factor. That is why GI OVO has been placing an RFID chip in its EggsCargoSystem® pallets for many years now. This RFID chip can be easily read in and out, after which the obtained data can be easily converted with existing software. The RFID chip is located on the inside of the pallet, so that it cannot be damaged, while it retains its functionality.
ECI Ovotrack
To identify batches of eggs quickly and easily and to simplify the switchover on the sorting machine, GI OVO works together with Ovotrack. Together they have developed the ECI (EggsCargoSystem – Identifier).
